News Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEAdditional Information re Press ReleaseWe plan to continue to have a Bible Explorer® and a WORDsearch™ program. They will be based on the same CROSS™ electronic book format and much of the underlying code. The Bible Explorer has established a reputation as the easiest Bible software on the market, and we will keep it lean and simple to maintain that position. WORDsearch will use the same interface paradigms as Bible Explorer, but we will add the functionality currently in WORDsearch and continue to add new functionality to serve the needs of preachers and teachers. It may not be as easy as Bible Explorer, as functionality tends to trade off with ease of use, but will aim to be the easiest professional tool for Bible study. It is our goal to make the entire libraries of both Bible Explorer and WORDsearch available for both programs as soon as possible. The first of the new books for the Bible Explorer should be available in August with additional books coming available frequently over a period of months. We aim to have the first new release of WORDsearch based on Bible Explorer toward the end of 2003. Owners of STEP libraries will be able to convert or swap their STEP books and Bibles for the same content in the CROSS format for a small charge as part of the program upgrade. We will continue to support the STEP versions of WORDsearch and LESSONmaker, and to release new electronic books in both the STEP and CROSS formats for the foreseeable future.
