About the Author
Peter C. Craigie (1938-1985) was educated at the universities of Edinburgh, Durham, and Aberdeen and held the Ph.D. from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He was Academic Vice President and Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Calgary in Alberta. His other scholarly works include Ugarit and the Old Testament and The Problem of War in the Old Testament.
