Daily Light on the Daily Path has been a favorite daily devotional scripture reading, decade after decade, even century after century. It consists of brief groupings of scripture passages which speak to prominent Biblical themes one morning and one evening for each day of the year. The Scriptures have been put into the New King James Version for clarity for today's reader. It appends no commentary, but simply allows scripture to speak for itself. About the Author The Daily Light on the Daily Path was prepared by Jonathan Bagster and other members of his family, who were descendants of noted London bookseller Samuel Bagster. Samuel, the patriarch of the family, established a strong tradition of daily family Bible reading and meditation on the Scriptures. His descendants drew from the well of this heritage as they compiled this devotional for the benefit of other believers.
