Product Highlights
Very few people learn Hebrew or Greek well enough to read the Bible in its original languages unaided, so all Biblical language students can benefit from an accurate interlinear translation of the Hebrew Old Testament and the Greek New Testament. An interlinear will prove to be a quick reference tool for easy and accurate language study. This bundle contains the Old and New Testament Interlinear and the HCSB Old and New Testament Reverse Interlinear. The Old and New Testament Interlinear will provide the user with the option to start their word study in the original Biblical language and move into a deeper understanding of the word in the English language. The HCSB Old and New Testament Reverse Interlinear will allow the student of God's Word to begin their word study in English and move into the different definitions, nuances, and understandings in the Hebrew and Greek texts. Each interlinear contains an English translation of the text. The Old and New Testament Interlinear contains glosses, while the Old and New Testament Reverse Interlinear contains the Holman Christian Standard Bible text. Additionally, each interlinear contains the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia for the Old Testament and the United Bible Societies' Greek New Testament, 4th edition for the New Testament. The Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia is the fourth edition of the Masoretic Text of the Hebrew Bible as preserved in the Leningrad Codex, and supplemented by masoretic and text-critical notes. It is published by the Deutsche Bibelgesellschaft (German Bible Society) in Stuttgart. The Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia was prepared by H. P. Rüger and numerous other scholars on the basis of the St. Petersburg Public Library manuscript B19a and is a revision of the third edition of the Biblia Hebraica edited by Rudolf Kittel, the first printed Bible based on the Leningrad Codex. The United Bible Societies' Greek New Testament, 4th edition text is identical to the text of the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece, 27th edition with the exception of a few differences in punctuation. The United Bible Societies' Greek New Testament, was established by an international and interconfessional meeting and is considered the leading edition of the Greek New Testament. Both the Hebrew and Greek texts include superscript numbers to indicate the word order of the passage in the original language. Also included in each interlinear are direct transliterations of the corresponding Hebrew or Greek word, a Hebrew or Greek rendering of the root word, and a transliteration of the root word. This information will prove to be useful for students who want to seriously examine the definitions, etymology, and contextual meanings of the passage in study. Also included are two morphologies. The Westminster-Groves Hebrew Morphology is used for the Old Testament and was created by a team of Westminster scholars. It is considered the most up-to-date morphological analysis work available and is continually being updated and expanded as new information becomes available. The Analytical Greek New Testament Morphological Analysis is used for the New Testament. Here each word has a grammatical tag that consists primarily of capital letters. The first letter indicates whether the Greek word is a noun (N); verb (V); adjective (A); determiner (i.e. definite article) (D); preposition (P); conjunction (C); or particle (Q). Each subsequent capital letter identifies additional details about that particular part of speech. These tools are extremely helpful for quickly identifying information about the Hebrew or Greek text. Finally, both interlinears link all words to Strong's numbers and the corresponding Strong's phonetic pronunciation. The Strong's number will provide you with alternate English renderings of the Hebrew or Greek word and other Biblical passages the word appears in. Using the Strong's number, you will also be able to quickly consult addi
