About the Author
Barry Beitzel is associate academic dean and professor of Old Testament and Semitic languages at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Illinois. He is presently secretary/treasurer of the Middle-West Branch of the American Oriental Society, and he holds membership in the Association of American Geographers. He and his wife, Carol, have three children: Bradley, Bryan, and Kelly.
