About the Author
WAYNE RICE is co-founder of Youth Specialties and founder of Understanding Your Teenager (now part of HomeWord), a seminar for parents of teens and preteens. He currently serves as pastor to generations at College Avenue Baptist Church in San Diego, California. He still works with middle-school kids, plays the banjo and is an accomplished musician. An accomplished musician, RICE has played and recorded albums with several different bluegrass bands.
