The Interpreter's One Volume Commentary on the Bible stands proudly in the tradition of its predecessors. The Interpreter's Bible Commentary and the Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible have proved to be invaluable resources, yet this one-volume commentary stands alone in its completely new approach and format.

Seven years of planning and research went into the production of this commentary. Seventy scholars - Protestant, Roman Catholic, Jewish - have contributed fresh, new interpretations on the ageless truths of the Bible. It includes the most up-to-date archaeological information.

The Interpreter's One Volume Commentary on the Bible is designed for use by laypersons, ministers, librarians, college and seminary professors and students-anyone who enjoys studying the Bible.
