About the Author John Butler was born and raised in a small farming community in north central Iowa. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, attended Tennessee Temple College and graduated from Cedarville College. He has been preaching for over 45 years with 35 years in the pastorate. He held four pastorates, one each in Williamsburg, Ohio; Detroit, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois; and Clinton, Iowa. He is the author of the twenty volume Bible Biography Series, and has currently completed two books in the ten volume Study of the Savior Series. The author has been married for over 40 years, has three children and five grandchildren.
