Gustav Dore, French Romantic Illustrator, (1832-1883) illustrated books and magazines in the 19th century, and these illustrations are a collection of his wood engravings that relate to Biblical scenes. Referred to as an "Artist of the People" by Vincent van Gogh, Gustave Doré was the greatest illustrator in history.

This collection contains 90 different Biblical illustrations which are all keyed to specific Scripture passages.
