What’s New and Better
Instant Verse Study
Here’s the scenario:
Your electronic library is chock full of Bibles, commentaries, and your own notes, and you need to prepare a sermon on one specific passage. Here’s the easy way: 1) Select the passage in Word search 8,
2) paste into your word processor and print. Then head for your easy chair with a tall glass of lemonade to digest a wealth of insight just on that verse or range.
Parallel Bible Window Improvements
Parallel Bible windows are great for seeing the range of possible translations quickly, even if you’re not a language scholar yourself. WORDsearch was the first to introduce parallel translations back in 1994, but we’re still seeking ways to do it better.
- More versions per window. WORDsearch 8 now uses a grid
method that allows you to pack even more Bible versions in the display window.
- Search parallel. Now you can do Bible word searches directly from within the parallel Bible window, and then view your search results in the parallel view in either verse view, which lets you see only the matching verses, or context view, which shows the matching verses within the full Bible.
