- An overview of the first 39 Books of the Bible
This comprehensive study enables the reader to gain a clear understanding of the contents of each Old Testament book in order that the overall plan and purpose of God might be perceived.
The author explains each book, drawing out its Christology and applying its message to today’s reader. Numerous diagrams and maps are used throughout. His fresh innovative approach encourages the study of God’s Word in the Old Testament.
About the Author
Gareth Crossley holds a doctorate in theology, a masters degree in counseling (Keele University) and a post-graduate diploma in youth work. He has been a minister of the gospel for over 40 years, half of which has been spent in the pastorate of West Park Church, Wolverhampton, England. He is involved in the post-graduate training of ministers during and after theological college training and directs a team of church planters. Gareth has overall responsibility for the weekly meetings at Grace Church Belper. Gareth and his wife Joan have four children, and live in Blackbrook.
Gareth Crossley is one of my favorite Old Testament surveys. Crossley’s work is simple, but serious about understanding the Old Testament from a Christo-centric perspective.
