About the Author

Rich Earl is a 27 year veteran of pastoral ministry in a variety of contexts and roles. He has been lead pastor at Mountainside Assembly of God, a progressive missional congregation, in Coal Township, Pa. in the heart of Pennsylvania’s anthracite coal region since 1998.ich earned his BA in Journalism from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. and also attended Berean School of the Bible. He specializes in church revitalization, missional outreach, and leadership coaching. He has been published in Rev Magazine and The Pentecostal Evangel. Rich lives with his wife Faith and three children in Sunbury, PA.
