A new survey suggests nearly half of Americans are not sure if God exists. The survey conducted by Harris found that 42 percent of US adults say they are not "absolutely certain" there is a God. Three years ago, 34 percent of adults said they felt that way. When divided among various religious groups, 76 percent of Protestants, 64 percent of Catholics, and 30 percent of Jews said they were "absolutely certain" there is a God. Of people who described themselves as "Christians" or "Born Again," 93 percent said they felt certain God existed.
