Product Details

The AMG Comprehensive Dictionaries of Old and New Testament Words cover every person, place, and thing in the Bible, plus all common Greek and Hebrew words. Best of all, these 2 volumes are ideally suited for using and taking advantage of the features in WORDsearch.

This bundle includes:

AMG's Comprehensive Dictionary of New Testament Words

This volume takes into consideration terms used by 7 different translations of the NT, all excellent and trustworthy: KJV, NKJV, NIV (1984 & 2011), NASB, ESV, and Darby. Each English word is listed alphabetically for quick access. You'll find definitions and cross-references for more than 8,000 English terms that are based on the meaning of the more than 5,000 Greek words in the New Testament. This includes straightforward definitions, translation, transliteration, parts of speech, and a review of usage in the New Testament (this serves as a handy concordance). All words are hyperlinked to Strong's.

Part 2 of this volume lists all words in alphabetical order in Greek, as Strong's Dictionary lists them. This tool puts you one click away from Strong's, Talking Strong's, and all your other resources that use the Strong's numbering system.

AMG's Comprehensive Dictionary of Old Testament Words

This Old Testament volume considers words used by 5 different translations of the OT: KJV, NKJV, NIV, NASB, and ESV. It contains definitions and cross-references for approximately 10,900 terms. These definitions are based on the meaning of the more than 8,600 Hebrew words in the Hebrew Old Testament. It covers all the common words and all the names of people and places found in the Old Testament, and most often lists all the Scripture references where each English word is used. The primary entries also list the Hebrew words and Strong’s numbers so that you can quickly link to your other language tools.

Part 2 of this volume lists all words in alphabetical order in Hebrew, as Strong's Dictionary lists them. The format used in this OT volume is identical to the NT volume.

AMG’s Comprehensive Dictionaries of New & Old Testament Words are the perfect tools for studying the English Bible in the version of your choice.
